Goals

What's up 2013!


What a better place than a blog to do some goal-setting for 2013. Everyone can not only see what I hope to accomplish, but also hold me to it. So here it is:

Financial Goals
  • Open a savings account by March 2013
  • Keep $150-$200 in my personal checking account at all times by June 2013
  • Purchase a car for myself, make payments on it, and pay for insurance by June 2013
 Health/Fitness Goals
  • Do physical activity 5 out of 7 days of the week by February 2013
  • Go to yoga once a week (can be part of the "5 out of 7" days or extra) by March 2013
  • Run a 5k by December 2013
Personal Goals
  • Post on this blog at least 3 times a week by February 2013
  • Choose a "direction" for this blog by September 2013
  • Experiment with cooking two new meals a month (post on blog) by February 2013
  • Go out to eat with one old friend each month by February 2013

HELP! Any suggestions as to how I can meet my goals?

    The best way to stay committed to your goals is to keep them visible. Print them out and frame them in your bedroom, or somewhere you'll see them everyday. Ask people to hold you accountable; it's easier to get things done when you have a support system.

    Another great way to ensure you reach your goals is to plan ahead. You want to go out with one friend a month by next month? Call up an old friend TODAY and set a date for February.
